William Saroyan Centennial Celebration

By KSEE Sunrise

Even if you didn’t grow up in the Central Valley, you've probably still heard his name. William Saroyan has become a literary legend. The accomplished writer was born in Fresno and loved his city until his death in 1981. Had he been alive, Saroyan would turn 100 this year.

So to honor the man and his achievements, The Fresno County Library is hosting a year-long Saroyan Centennial Celebration.
