If you're a parent, you know how difficult it is to get your kids to eat vegetables. This morning on KSEE Sunrise, four very brave kids from Exeter showed us that eating vegetables isn't scary, in fact, it's fun!

Melody Wise, Tristan Beck, McKenna Ricks and Sierra Sparks tasted several vegetables and drank one questionable looking concoction with the help of Nani Rowland from the County Office of Education.

The Network for a Healthy California invites everyone to a fruit and veggie fest this Wednesday, May 7 at the Save Mart Supermarket in Exeter from 8 a.m. to noon. Nearly 400 2nd and 3rd grade students and their teachers will participate in a "No Fear Factor" style fruit and vegetable challenge.
