Cooking in Clovis North's kitchen

By KSEE News

Each and every weekday morning the staff at the Clovis North Educational Center is in the kitchen early preparing healthy breakfast and lunch items for students. Most days, they offer an average of 12 different entree items for lunch. KSEE Sunrise reporter Pamela Prado spent the morning showing part of the process that goes on each morning. Staff make many of the items, such as the bread, from scratch. Meal plans are developed by the district with a focus on key nutrients. Click on the video link to watch Judy and Maria preparing the breakfast burritos. And watch the video closely. It may appear the kitchen staff are not wearing hair nets, but they are! They each wear a hair net the exact color of their hair, so you cannot see them even from about one foot away.
