Bottling baby food at Initiative Foods

By KSEE News

"Initiative Foods" in Sanger makes baby food from mostly local produce. It's then bottled and packaged right in the Sanger plant. KSEE Sunrise reporter Pamela Prado shows you part of the process. Around 50 employees work at the plant. You won't see "Initiative Foods" on the label. The baby food is packaged under several different brands and is sold at area grocery stores. Millions of jars are shipped across the country each year. The business has been in Sanger about six years.

It looks like they're doing a good job there, especially with their president. (By the way, he's my uncle, not kidding!)

My friend works there. She says they are really careful and picky about the food. My friend wants to work more and hopes they can get more people to buy the food.
