The Chef: Asian Pork Sandwiches

boneless pork chops, thinly sliced into 4 portions, 2 to 3 ounces each
1/2 red onion, cut into thin slices
cilantro, chopped or torn
mint leaves, chopped
basil, chopped
cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
mayonnaise
Suracha (spicy chili hot sauce)
lime
salt
pepper
4 soft french rolls, split and toasted

Season pork with salt and pepper and sauté until cooked, about 4 minutes on each side. Spread mayonnaise and Suracha on french rolls. Place meat on rolls and top each with cucumbers, mint, basil, red onion, cilantro and lime juice. Serve hot.

Serves 4.
