CalTrans Fog Pilot Project

By KSEE News

The devastation from last year's accident at Highway 99 near Clovis Avenue took 2 lives, injured dozens more and should be enough to get people to drive more safely in the fog, but some people just don't get the message. CalTrans unveils a new program that should assist drivers when it comes to the fog. A more intense and immediate fog and reduced speed warning system will line a 12-mile stretch of Highway 99 and CHP will increase it's pace units to keep drivers focused and safe.
