Community Food Bank is preparing to hand out food boxes to people in need in the Central Valley for Thanksgiving. They still need donations to fill the boxes. KSEE Sunrise reporter Pamela Prado spends the morning at the food bank. Items needed include: canned fruits and vegetables, soup, boxed meals, beans, peanut butter, cereal, rice, macaroni and cheese, pasta, juice and canned meat. Monetary donations are even better because the food bank can stretch $1 into $8 worth of food. Community Food Bank is located at 3403 East Central Avenue in Fresno. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Call 237-food for more information about locations or to find a location to receive a box of food.
