This morning on KSEE Sunrise This morning on KSEE Sunrise Jenifer Alcorn demonstrated how to use the Physio Ball (or Swiss Ball). Physio balls require more muscle movement in order to perform exercises because of the instability of the round surface of the ball. It is often used for core training, but can also be used in addition to hand weights for muscle building. It is often used in yoga or Pilates practice and can be used in physical therapy sessions to strengthen back and abdominal muscles. Physio ball exercises can also increase core body muscle mobility and flexibility (source: expertvillage.com).
