Jennifer Alcorn takes stand in Johnson-Klein trial

Former 3-time world boxing champion, Jennifer Alcorn, took the witness stand Tuesday in Stacy Johnson-Klein's wrongful termination lawsuit against Fresno State.

Alcorn said her job as conditioning coach for the women's basketball team was made more difficult because of interference by then-assistant coach, Adrian Wiggins.

She also said tension in the program prior to Johnson-Klein's firing in 2005 was caused partly by the assistant coaches.

Earlier in the day, Dr. William Kennedy testified that the athletic department's drug policy was significantly weakened between 2002 and 2005.

He said former men’s basketball coach, Ray Lopes, allowed Terry Pettis (and others) to continue playing despite repeated failed drug tests.
