A 12-year-old boy was arrested after he killed his pet dog by hanging it by it's collar. The boy told police that he 'was mad at the dog so I killed it'.
Officers from the Salinas police department responded to the scene after someone from the boy's apartment called 911. According to The Californian, the caller hung up before they could detail the nature of the emergency.
