Day Two - no verdict in Schuster murder trial

By Geoff Roth

After a second day of deliberating, the jurors in the Larissa Schuster murder trial going on in Van Nuys went home without a verdict.

Schuster is accused of murdering her husband Timothy in 2003 and putting his body in a barrel filled with acid.

The jury could find her not guilty, guilty of first or second degree murder, or guilty of voluntary manslaughter.

Schuster has admitted to helping hide her husband's body after she claims a former employee killed him. If she is found not guilty on the murder charges, she could be retried on charges of being an accessory to murder.

KSEE 24 News has learned that, just before they adjourned for the day, jurors indicated they had their first question for the court. That question will be revealed in court first thing Wednesday morning.
