A 13-year old Madera boy is facing felony drug charges for cultivation of marijuana.
Deputies discovered the drugs inside his home on on Martin Street near Road 26 during an investigation into a stolen lap top on Wednesday night.
Found in the home include numerous starter plants and seeds. A full grown plant was yanked from a flower bed. The boy’s mother said she was unaware of the cannabis.
The teenager, whose name has not been released, was booked into Madera county Juvenile Hall on suspicion of marijuana cultivation.
