California Highway Patrol officers say fog may have played a role in a Madera County crash that took the lives of three people. It happened just before 8 a.m. Tuesday, in the area of Highway 152 and Road 16. Officers say a semi-truck was making a left hand turn on Road 16. That's when a truck clipped the semi-truck's rear causing it to overturn. Moments later, another semi heading west on 152 swerved left to avoid the crash, but ended up crashing into a Honda Accord. Three people inside the Honda were killed. They resided in San Jose. The driver of the truck that was clipped was not hurt. The second driver that hit the Honda was hospitalized.
