Religious conference sparks controversy

A gay and lesbian Christian worship group gathered in front of the Bridge Evangelical Free Church to protest the message of a conference.
Protestors say teaching "freedom from homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ," creates self-hate, self-violence and hate crimes.

Demonstrators displayed their message to people passing the church from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday.
