Construction caused some delays on Highway 180 Sunday.

A slight back-up happened around noon...

CalTrans crews shut down 2 lanes as well as the 41 and 180 connectors.

The project could take a while to complete...

CalTrans is trying to alleviate congestion by creating a bypass ramp along the 180.

CHP officers say, aside from a little sluggish traffic, there weren't very many problems during today's construction.

Sean Duncan, CHP: "It is a sunday, so traffic might be a little more congested tomorrow so plan accordingly, give yourself some extra time and just be well informed."

CHP officers also want to remind people to slow down near construction and keep an eye out for workers.
