Larissa Schuster's attorney asks for new trial

By KSEE News

The lawyer representing Larissa Schuster has filed a petition asking for a new trial. In court papers, Roger Nutall claims the judge in the case did not give proper instructions to the jurors, and also claims not enough evidence was presented to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she killed her husband.
Last year, A Los Angeles County jury found the Clovis biochemist guilty of murdering her husband Timothy back in 2003.
Schuster is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.
