Minor injuries in Yosemite school bus accident

By Geoff Roth

Two buses carrying middle school students from Yolo Middle School in Newman collided near the intersections of Highways 120 and 140 in Yosemite National Park this morning. Around 12 students were transported to hospitals, but none of the injuries are being called serious.

Park officials say the buses were traveling through an area where construction was going on, and the first bus stopped suddenly. That's when the second bus rear-ended the first bus.
