A Fresno family is in mourning after it's 19 month old boy drowned in the family swimming pool. Fresno police say it happened at a home, just off Ashcroft and Holland, in Fresno. At around 5 p.m. Thursday, the family was preparing for a family outing, when they realized the young boy was missing. They searched the home and found the child inside the swimming pool. Police and paramedics arrived a short time later and tried to resuscitate him. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. This drowning is the first in Fresno, this year.
