Residents who live in the foothills expressed their concern Wednesday over a PG&E proposal that could bring high voltage lines and a substation through the Sierra Foothills.

The residents are especially concerned after seeing the Avocado Lake fire. That fire was caused by power lines that arced after very strong wind blew in.

The “Save the Foothills Coalition” held a meeting to talk to residents about fire dangers associated with high voltage power lines.
