Juror removed from Shirley trial

One of the jurors debating the fate of a former Fresno State football player has been removed.

Juror number six was removed Wednesday after he told a judge, he would be unable to deliberate the case.

The two man, and 10 woman jury will now restart deliberations.

Last October, Jason Shirley allegedly backed his car into a town house and nearly struck someone inside.

The prosecution said Shirley's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. The defense claims a concussion suffered during a football game clouded his judgement.

Earlier this year, Shirley was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals.
