New bill to help farm workers

The drought has already triggered over 73 million dollars in agricultural loses and more than 500 jobs haven been lost in Fresno County alone.

In response, Fresno Assemblymember Juan Arambula and State Senator Dean Florez are pushing a bill offering emergency aid to farm workers put out of work by the drought.

The bill, AB1107 has the backing of leaders from Mendota and Firebaugh.
