Update: Fresno Police have 2 suspects in Stolen Fireworks Case

By Jon Brent

Two men are in custody and about $2000 in stolen fireworks have been recovered in a case that began on Wednesday.
Two large trucks loaded with $50000 in fireworks were taken from the TNT Fireworks warehouse on Wednesday, when TNT management says, the security guard fell asleep. An investigation began immediately and Fresno Police on a Crimestoppers tip, arrived on the 2300 block of S. Backer in Southeast Fresno to find a garage loaded with stolen fireworks and subjects lighting off the stolen goods. Jon Brent has the latest on the investigation.

Both the suspects and the company in which the security guard worked for should have to pay restitution. The organization in which the fireworks were to go to lost out in making money for their causes. Furthermore, any issues pertaining to explosives are to be registered as arsonists. The law should not reduce their crimes to petty larceny or theft. They knew what they were doing when they premeditatedly stole the fireworks. Also anyone who used them should also be in custody, kids and adults.
