Former Fresno County Sheriff's Sergeant sentenced on child porn charges

Former Fresno County Sheriff''s Sgt. Ron Vaughn, who was recently convicted on child porn charges, was sentenced Thursday to 14 years in prison.

In February, a federal jury convicted Vaughn on charges of possessing child pornography. Vaughn had worked in the sheriff department's sex crimes unit before leaving to start a photography business.

This past June, in a controversial move, a judge allowed Vaughn to leave his prison cell to attend his daughter's high school graduation.

why should this guy get any special treatment? Why let a this animal out of jail to attend a function where he will be surrounded by children, when he's in there for a crime like that. I am disgusted.
