Porterville police fatally shoot suspect

Porterville police fatally shot a man Thursday morning after he ran into the Foster Farms plant in Porterville wielding a knife.
Police are not releasing any details, but a statement sent out by Foster Farms says police were pursuing the man when he ran onto their facility. Police ordered the man to put down the knife, and then shot him when he started running in to an employee break room. No one else was harmed in the incident.
