Two Inmates Indicted on Prison Murder

Correctional officer, Jose Rivera, was killed inside prison grounds by two inmates. The United States Attorney says Rivera was repeatedly stabbed with an "8 inch ice pick like shank."

A United States Attorney, McGregor Scott, says Jose Sablan and James Guerrero are indicted on the murder of Jose Rivera. Scott says they are now facing several first degree murder charges.

Both Sablan and Guerrero were already serving life sentences. Scott and the Rivera's family is heavily pushing for the death penalty for both inmates.

Good to see this. Unfortuantely, some California judge will probably rule them incompetent to stand trail. We are still waiting on the murderer of Officer Williams to have his day in court.
