Marijuana Garden Discovered

By KSEE News

Fresno Police Narcotics Investigators carried one burned marijuana plant after the next, a dozen in total, out of the North West Fresno home of Paul Warren and Deanna Boltz.

The marijuana garden was discovered after fire crews responded to what they’re describing as a “small attic fire” in a home on the 5400 block of Roberts.

Investigators waited around an hour and a half to obtain a search warrant to enter the house.

Once inside, they found the marijuana plants along with high powered lights, chemical fertilizers and an open flame carbon dioxide device in the attic.
Investigators suspect the open flame carbon dioxide caused the fire.

Not only could the couple face charges stemming from the marijuana operation; but, investigators say because 3 children live in the home, child endangerment charges could also be filed.
