Locals Gear Up For Much Anticipated Vice Presidential Debates

Biden and Palin will square off in one of the most highly anticipated Vice Presidential debates in history. Analysts say the republicans have more to prove Thursday night.

"Palin has to prove she has the historical and political knowledge and that she can think fast on her feet," said political analyst Kevin Ayotte.

This comes after analysts say Palin's recent interviews with the networks exposed her inexperience.

"We expected the media to try and trap her. But she has more experience than Obama," said Fred Vanderhoof of the local republican headquarters.

The battle-tested democrat from Delaware, Joseph Biden, will have his hands full as he has to prove whether he can play nice at the debates.

"His strengths are his heart and his mind. I don't think you'll find a more dedicated servant," said T.J. Cox of the group Obama For America.

"If Biden goes too far to attack Palin. That would be off-putting for many audience members," said Ayotte.

Both sides have something to prove and both have something to gain and lose.
