Fire destroys apartment units in Clovis

By KSEE News

A fast moving fire at the Cedar Apartments in Clovis completely destroyed four apartment units and badly damaged four others.

Clovis fire investigators say the fire started around 5:30 Thursday evening on the balcony of a top floor apartment.

No one was injured in the fire.

Residents say the Cedar Apartment community worked together to preserve life.

The 22 people burned out of their homes say they'll help each other again as they struggle to start over.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
