Murder in Pixley, 12-year-old being questioned

A 76-year-old Pixley woman was shot and killed Tuesday morning, and a 12-year-old family member has been detained in the case. The Tulare County sheriff's Department says it responded to a call for medical aide this morning and found Shirley Bowles suffering from a gunshot wound. Sheriff's deputies say family members told them a fight had occurred between Bowles and the 12-year-old, who has been detained in the case.
