A 2nd rockslide in as many days has occurred in the Curry Village area of Yosemite National Park. The second slide, which happened this morning, caused some minor injuries and forced the evacuation of the 600-cabin Curry Village site. Witnesses say trees were knocked down and at least a couple of cabins were damaged. A park spokesperson told KSEE 24 News that about 1800 cubic yards of rock fell, which is considered a major slide. The spokesperson said about 1000 people were evacuated from 400 occupied cabins in the village.
