Tulare County workers stage one-day strike

Thousands of Tulare County employees walked off the job today to protest a new contract they say was forced on them by the county. After stalled negotiations, the county imposed a new contract that included a 2.75% pay raise. The county workers' union was seeking a 5% increase along with more benefits for employees.
