Free mammograms and cervical cancer screenings are available to low income and uninsured women through a federally and state funded program called "Every Woman Counts."
The program serves 5,000 California women every year, including many in the central valley.
To find out if you qualify, call this toll-free number: 1-800-511-2300.

Called and left a message, it is Sat evening, have no health insurance, lost home last year, looking for work, have found a sore lump under my armpit, scared, keeping it to myself, hope I will qualify to get some help. I am 51. Hope they will call me.

If Melissa didnt qualify, then how can it be helping women? I'm 39 have no insurance, no job and I have 1 lrg lump under my armpit and 2 bb size lumps that just showed up in the last 30 days, I also have green mucus from both my nipples..How can I get help??? I need to be checked asap!

Theres a place in Fresno called California Health Collaborative on Shaw near Cedar and they do free mammograms to low income non insured.
