FUSD Candidates Talk Student Health

By KSEE News

Fresno Metro Ministry hosted a candidate forum Wednesday afternoon. The eight candidates hoping for a spot on the Fresno School Board took questions from a small audience on student health.

In 2006, officials adopted a Wellness Policy that was expected to make health and nutrition more of a priority.

Many of the candidates said the Wellness Policy needs to be revisited and made more of a priority.

The candidates include
District 2, Esmeralda Diaz, Paul H. Garcia, Larry Moore, Manuel Nunez
District 5, Natalie Clark, Carol Mills
District 6, Virginia Hermosillo, Janet Ryan
