Former Fresno Unified Teacher Arrested for Sex with a Minor

Clovis Police late Wednesday arrested 28-year-old Ephraim Aguirre II for having unlawful sex with a minor, a former student of his. Detectives are concerned there may be more potential victims.
Aguirre worked for the Fresno Unified School District as a full-time substitute history teacher at McLane High School during the 2006-2007 school year. He may have worked as a student intern and/or a teacher at as many as two other Fresno Unified schools.
Clovis Police officers served a search warrant at his apartment in the 700 block of Villa on Wednesday to find that he had moved from Clovis to Fresno. They then received permission to enter his new house in the 3700 block of N. Ninth in Fresno. Officers arrested Aguirre for one count each of the following felonies: oral copulation with a minor, penetration with a foreign object, and unlawful sex with a minor under the age of 18. Clovis Police are also conducting an investigation into hundreds images of child pornography found on one of Aguirre’s personal computers.
If you have any information or know of any more potential victims in this case, please call Detective Lonnie Amerjan at (559) 324-2473.
