I know that all parents have stepped inside while our children play in the backyard or walked away for a few seconds while they take a bath (to answer the phone or we forgot to grab a towel). We trust being in our home. I can't judge them, but pray for the whole family. Would we want others to make us as parents feel worse than we would already feel to lose a child. NEVER.

No one should judge this family, I am SURE they are going through enough grief right now without comments like the two before me. Please remember, we are all human and have feelings. God be with the entire family!

I never let my either of my kids when they were 3 play outside without being right there with them...but then again, it could only take a couple minutes and a freak accident like that could happen indoors also. You can't have eyes on them 100% of the time inside, but never outside alone at that age.

If the child was being supervised this accident could have been prevented.
