Man Arrested for Child Abuse on Sunnyside Campus

It was a plan to catch a suspected predator using his accuser, a 14 year old Sunnyside High School freshman, as bait.

Sunnyside High School Vice Principal Angel Durazo said, “She was to instruct him to pick her up Monday morning; to come into the office and act like her older brother.”

Just as planned, Bernabe Morales,25, walked onto the high school campus and right into the trap set by the Fresno Police Department.

Morales faces felony charges of child molestation and penetration with a foreign object.

Investigators said crimes were committed against the 14 year old on Friday after she voluntarily left campus with Morales.

One assault against a child and they need to be locked up forever. Joseph Duncan who went on to kidnap Dylan and Shasta Groene and ultimately murdered Dylan after killing their mother, brother and family friend had this to say about his sex offender status: "The truth is I am not an exception, I am the rule! Most sex offenders are just like me." Why give them another chance to victimize a child again? Or murder her mother for trying to protect her? We must protect our citizens.

Well i think parents need to check and punish their kids when they have conversations with these guys. Turn them on then say no when they don't like the looks of who they talked to. Setting these young men up.Green light,Red light and they shouldn't be leaving with anyone in the first place. She set him up,i think it was consentual and then cries rape,puppy crying out wolf.
