A group that provides services to senior citizens is taking up a new cause. After noticing that many seniors were using part of their home delivered meals to feed their pets, the group decided to start a drive to collect pet food to give out to seniors in need of assistance. Many elderly people rely on their pets for companionship, but are having difficulty paying for pet food. The drive, called AniMeals, can be reached by calling 432-3574.
