Plane Crashes Near Coalinga; One Dead

Officials with the Fresno County Sheriff's Department say the single engine plane was diverted from Harris Ranch to the Coalinga Airport due to fog on Sunday night.

Joshua Cawthra, with the National Transportation Safety Board, got word the pilot had engine troubles. Cawthra says the investigation is still in the early stages and no conclusions have been made yet as to how it was caused.

Three people were aboard the plane. Cawthra says two of the survivors have minor injuries. The Fresno County Coroner's office has confirmed the identity of individual killed as Marya Yee, 51, of New York.
