Fresno has a new mayor

Ashley Swearengin was sworn in as Fresno's new mayor on Tuesday morning. She becomes only the 2nd female mayor in the city's history. As he stepped down after 8 years as mayor, Alan Autry told a standing room only crowd in the city council chambers that he has felt very fortunate during his time in office. Mayor Swearengin told the crowd there are tough times ahead with the current state of the economy.
