Fresno Security Guard Beaten to Death
Fresno Police need your help in locating several suspects responsible for the city’s 39th homicide of the year. 59 year old Albert Rodriguez died last night after sustaining multiple blunt force injuries at an apartment complex in the 27 hundred block of East Weldon. Police say Rodriguez, a security guard at the complex, confronted a group that was causing problems at the complex.
Murder Suspect Appears in Kings County Court
An unusual scene in a Kings County Courtroom, as a man charged with killing his father appears before a judge. 28 year old Nathaniel Caetano was scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon. Authorities believe he burned his father’s home and decapitated the body.
Two Fresno Fire Stations to Close
Two Fresno fire stations could be cut from next year’s budget. The cuts are part of Mayor Ashley Swearengin’s plan to fix the city’s $28 million budget deficit. One station is located at Aircorp and Westover in East Central Fresno, the other at La Ventana and Celeste in Northwest Fresno.
