Michael and Aleesha Klomp of Hanford are planning to travel to China, seeking stem cell therapy for their 2-year-old son Gryphon, who suffers from cerebral palsy. The treatment is not available in the United States, and some medical experts say the treatment is unproven at this point. But the Klomps say they are willing to try the treatment if it means a better life for their son. They have raised $50 thousand to make the trip.
