HARD TIMES: Thousands show up for food giveaway

Around 2000 people showed up Saturday at the Manchester Center in West Central Fresno for a food giveaway sponsored by the Latino Rotary Club. People participating said that tough times, especially in western Fresno County, are making it hard to put food on the table. Drought and irrigation water restrictions have dried up not only farmland, but jobs as well.
