Merced partys on eve of First Lady's speech

The City of Merced is counting on a boost both in the town's stature and it's economy as thousands converge for Saturday's UC Merced commencement featuring First Lady Michelle Obama. On Friday evening and all day Saturday, the city is hosting a Cap & Town event in downtown, featuring food, music and other entertainment.
