North Valley authorities on Tuesday announced the arrest of more than two dozen known gang members and a drug dealer as part of a recent undercover investigation by Merced's multi-agency gang task force.
The latest investigation targeted a gang known for violence against law enforcement.
A member of that same gang was convicted of shooting and killing Merced police officer Stefan Gray in April of 2004.
