Fresno city Fire Chief Randy Bruegman says he's proud of the quick work by firefighters to put out Thursday's Bluff Fire in north Fresno.
One home was lost to the flames but others were saved. The wild land fire charred 15 acres. The owners of the home, William and Beth Duke, are staying with relatives. They were planning on selling the home. Chief Bruegman says the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but they are looking into the possbility it was started by fireworks being shot off in the area.
