Drug bust at Fresno restaurant

The Fresno County Sheriff's Department and the DEA arrested six people on Friday as part of a drug investigation. Following up on a tip, they observed drugs being brought into Taqueria Superior located on Blackstone just north of Shields. Inside they found 9 pounds of crystal meth and $7000 in cash.
Four of the six men arrested were from San Jose. The two Fresno men arrested were brothers Julio Nava and Sergio Nava. KSEE 24 News has learned that their father, Eligio Nava, owns the restaurant where the drugs were found. He is the past president of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Police have not said if he had any involvement in the drug case, but no charges have been made against him.
Police say they followed some cars suspected of being involved in a drug run after receiving a tip. DEA agents showed reporters how the drugs were hidden in various compartments of the vehicles before they were taken into the restaurant.

I have had the honor and distinct pleasure of knowing Mr. & Mrs. Nava for a number of years. They are both very upright, honest, law abiding & hard working people. I know that he has always been very much against drug use and I have full confidence that he had no part in the recent issue at his place of business. I have done business with him a number of times and he has always been honest and fair with me. I will continue to regard him as a trusted business man and friend.

Clue #1 there is never anyone eating at that restaurant! The dad must have some idea of the drug dealing as there are never any customers... would he be concerned with no customers and having to pay for the rent/loan and utilities? Something is not right Mr. Nava is involved!
