Tea Party Express Stops in Fresno

The Tea Party Express made its way to Fresno for a second tour Monday.

Organizers say the goal is to focus on the mid-term elections.

More than 100 people gathered in Downtown Fresno’s Eaton Plaza to support the Tea Party Movement.

Many of the demonstrators carried signs in opposition to President Obama.

With mid-term elections nearly a year away, Tea Partiers are urging people to use their vote to defeat any politician who supports the current administration.

The Tea Party Tour is scheduled to him 38 cities by the time it wraps up in Florida on November 12th.

I attended the Tea Party Express event yesterday and was impressed with the caliber of attendees as well as the presenters. I saw none of the radical and rabid behavior Ms. Pelosi and her pack portray these folks to be. Instead, there were well-dressed, well-spoken and informed citizens who are fed up with government's intrusion into their lives. Repeatedly I heard individuals state this was not a Republican or Democrat issue: it's an American issue of freedom and liberty. Period.
