The Mother of 4 year old Alex Mercado is speaking out about her son’s death.
Mindy Mercado says she had suspicions about the 14 year old accused of killing her son, and stuffing his body in a dryer this weekend.
She also denied rumors that the 14 year old had been babysitting for the children.
A memorial fund has been set up for Alex Mercado, to help pay for funeral expenses.

I have been reading and watching this story and I am wondering where was the suspect's mother while all this was happening to Alex, if this little boy was being sexually abused and crying where was the mother to not have heard anything, there had to be some signs after all was done, my heart goes out to the family of Alex Mercado.
