Family Mourns Death of 9 Year Old

A Fresno Family continues to grieve the loss of their 9 year old son.
Cage Castillo died Sunday night after being hit with a car, while riding his bike near Ashlan and Marks in Northwest Fresno.
The person driving the car left the scene.
Tuesday night, Cage’s family returned to the scene of the crime to hold a memorial and collect donations for his funeral.
Donations can also be made to any Educational Employees Credit Union.
Authorities say they still haven’t found the driver who hit Cage.
The suspect’s vehicle is being described only as a silver Sedan that’s missing a bumper.

Estelle, go back and read ur comment again. now stop and think about kids being hit by a vehicle that came thru their living room while watching t.v. with loved ones. He was 9 years old riding a bike, you can not fault the parents because he was just being a kid. Chances are the SOB that hit him has children, are those kids safe being with that parent? God bless the Castillo family, my prayers are with you.

Spending time riding bikes with parents or trusted adult at the park than the streets with our children is safer, 2 things are being accomplished: exercise and spending quality time with the child I feel bad for children many alone on the streets with bikes, where are parents? We cannot trust anyone especially on their car with kids riding near them. Dangerous!!! This child for sure, would be alive if parents or trusted adult spending time be with him somewhere far from cars around.
