Suspect in Officer Involved Shooting Arrested

After hours of searching for a man involved in an officer involved shooting, the suspect is now behind bars.

22 year old Dedrick Mitchell was found at around 1am in an apartment in the 2000 block of South Chance.

Police say that is the area where Mitchell tried to rob a food vendor before police intervened.

Mitchell was struck by the officer’s bullets multiple times, and had to be treated at an area hospital after the arrest.

He is now in the Fresno County Jail.

This guy dedrick,is crazy and needs to be put in jail for a very long time. as far as his girlfriend she is just as crazy as him, indicating on the new he should have not been shot like that....WOW she has the nerve to say that...what ABOUT the vendor who is TRYING to make a living...it is OKAY for dedrick to rob him...she just need to quit making herself sound and look ignorant..all these hooligans need to be placed on a island far away from all the innocent people....just put him in jail.

yes because the unarmed homeless man who was beaten by the police doesn't say enough. Or the man who reached for the floor of his car who was shot and killed by a police officer doesn't say anything either. Or the teenager who was beaten because he didn't give the cop his skateboard after he already obeyed the cop and got off the skateboard. No, we have no reason to complain right?
